     Before making teaching a career, Julie played professionally on the Future's, European, Asian and LPGA Tour, winning 14 tournaments worldwide.  In addition to her outstanding playing credentials, she has excelled in her teaching. She has been named to the prestigious list of Golf For Women Magazine’s Top 50 Teachers, Golf Digest Top 15 Teachers in North Carolina, and Golf Magazine’s Top 475 Teachers Nationwide. She has been twice voted by her peers as LPGA Southeast Section Teacher of the Year, in 1995 and 1999. In addition to her teaching talents, she has been a contributing editor for Golf For Women Magazine. Julie has shown her leadership in the golf industry by serving as an LPGA National Evaluator and instructor for LPGA Education Workshops. She contributes her time to the Annual Julie Cole Charity Pro-Am in Findlay, OH, and other charitable organizations.

Jay joined Dana Rader and Julie Cole in 1995 at the golf school's original location at Raintree Country Club in Charlotte.  He was instrumental in the school's growth and relocation to the Ballantyne Resort in 1997.  As the Senior Instructor, he was selected in 2006 to head the Statesville CC location that opened January 2007.  Jay's ability to teach a broad spectrum of students made him the perfect choice for the Statesville location. His use of video and ability to communicate a clear understanding of the swing correction have brought him students of all levels from beginner to professional. Jay enjoys teaching all areas of the game with his emphasis being on student improvement and lower scores. He has been a contributing writer to many golf publications and has played in many pro-am tournaments.  His career low round is 64.

Jason's list of students includes all skill levels with an emphasis on low handicappers, touring professionals, club champions and advanced juniors.  A PGA Class A member since 1996 and also a former head golf professional, Jason has a sharp eye for in-swing correction. Using his 17 years of teaching experience along with extensive video analysis he will help you improve, whether it be your long game, short game or on the green.  He also excels at teaching the mental side of the game, including playing lessons. Golf Digest in August 2007 named Jason one of North Carolina's top teaching professionals.  He also has been honored as a leading teacher in the southeast by Golf Magazine and was nominated in 2004 and 2006 by the same publication for its Top 100 Teacher lists. Jason also played four years at then nationally-ranked Glenville (WV) State. He is a contributing writer for Metrolina Golf, Publinks magazine and golfinstruction.com.  When asked why you should select him as your teaching professional, Jason said, "You will learn something new and you will get results.

Marc's main interests lie in coaching junior golfers and aspiring collegiate golfers.  He started the Junior Elite Program, a year round program of practice and instruction for juniors who are playing tournament golf and who hope to play collegiate golf.  Marc also organizes the annual Ballantyne Resort Junior Open that attracts top players from several states. Marc has brought an international flair to the Dana Rader staff. He is fluent in French and has been a hit with the Canadian and European students.  While he teaches students at all levels of the game, he understands the importance of fundamentals and incorporates them well into his instruction.

Nancy combines an excellent technical eye for golf swing analysis with a simple, easy to comprehend approach to instruction.  Her other instruction strengths can be summarized in the areas of error detection and correction, progression planning, and being results oriented.  Nancy joined the Dana Rader Golf School staff after teaching for the Golf Digest Schools at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.  Her teaching experience also includes being a certified instructor for the Nick Faldo Golf Institute.  Nancy is the former Director of Instruction at Hickory Hill Golf Club in her native Baldwinsville, NY, where she developed players of all ages and abilities through sound fundamentals and in-swing correction.  Her staff experience also includes the historic Inverness Club in Toledo, OH.

Doug's enthusiasm for the game and teaching is contagious and his knowledge of the game in all areas makes it fun for all his students, regardless of their age or skill level. He is very interested in improving your short game and putting along with his positive approach to full swing instruction.  Doug joined the Dana Rader Golf School in 2006 after teaching 13 years at Michael Hebron's Golf School in Smithtown, NY.  He is a former teaching professional and Director of Instruction at Island Green Golf School in Selden, NY and the former Head Pro at Smithtown Landing Country Club. Doug was named in Consumers Research Council of America Guide to America’s Top Golf Instructors in 2002.

Derek's creative practice and play methodology  of teaching is popular with his students at all skill levels, including the junior high and high school athletes. He has the unique ability to adapt to people's different personalities and learning styles.  Derek completed his Class A certification shortly after joining the Dana Rader staff in 2007.  He is a graduate of Ferris State University Professional Golf Management Program in Big Rapids, MI, where he played four years of collegiate golf. He participated in five instructor internships while at Ferris State including one at another Top 25 Golf School.  With a good eye for detecting swing error, Derek has embraced the methodology of Dana Rader with an emphasis on communication, player development and measurable results.
